Product Name: Barium Sulfate for Friction Materials (BaSO4)
Properties: White powder with high purity and extremely low impurity content (chloride ions, iron, silicon, etc.). It has high specific gravity (approximately 4.3 - 4.5 g/cm³), good fineness and low oil absorption value. The narrow and uniform particle size distribution helps to ensure even dispersion in the friction material matrix, avoiding localized performance discrepancies. It has very stable chemical properties, insoluble in water, acids, bases, and organic solvents (except under rare strong reducing conditions), and resistant to corrosion with excellent high-temperature performance.
Packaging: 25 kg/bag, The inner bag is polyethylene plastic film bag, tied with rope; The outer bag is polypropylene plastic woven bag or multi-layer paper bag, sewn by machine.Customized packaging can also be arranged according to user's requirements.
Precautions: Protect from direct sunlight and rain; Store in a dry and well-ventilated warehouse with a base layer to prevent moisture; Do not store or transport with colored items to avoid color contamination; Handle with care during loading and unloading to prevent packaging damage.
Application: Processed through special production techniques, it can stabilize the friction coefficient, reduce noise and vibration, and improve thermal conductivity. It is used as a functional filler in friction materials, widely applied in automotive brake pads, clutch plates, train brake shoes, high-speed rail braking systems, and aerospace braking components.
