Fuhua Achieves Results in Safety Month and “June 4th” Warning Day Activities

As the nation observes the 25th “Safety Production Month,” Fuhua closely aligns with the theme of “Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response—Identifying and Rectifying Risks and Hazards.” The company has meticulously organized and deeply implemented the 34th “Safety Production Month” and “June 4th” Warning Day activities. Through comprehensive safety responsibility implementation and proactive identification and rectification of hazards, the company has built a robust safety defense line, ensuring stable and safe production throughout the month, achieving excellent results in production, quality, marketing targets, and zero accidents.

In the early stages of the activities, the company’s Vice General Manager Li Jie chaired a mobilization meeting attended by all management personnel, where the activity plan and measures were detailed and arranged. The participants watched a safety production warning educational film that highlighted real cases to ring the safety alarm. Director Wang Bin of the Low Iron Sodium Sulfide Workshop and Section Chief Zhang Binbin of the Equipment Department subsequently expressed their commitment to enhancing safety responsibilities and mission awareness, vowing to fulfill all tasks for Safety Month activities. After a collective oath by attendees, President Wang Pu emphasized that safety is the foundation of peace and stability, the lifeline of the company, and that safety responsibility is of utmost importance. He reminded managers at all levels to carry a strong sense of responsibility and mission for the company and its employees, to take the lead, thoroughly investigate potential hazards on-site, and effectively implement management measures without superficiality, ensuring the smooth conduct of Safety Month activities.

On June 4th, grassroots units held “June 4th” Warning Day discussions in succession. The Safety and Environmental Department and the Party and Mass Work Office widely promoted the background and origin of Warning Day through WeChat groups and the “Fuhua Communications” platform. They used historical tragic cases to remind both new and veteran employees to remember the painful lessons, not to forget production safety, and to defend the safety lifeline starting from themselves. Safety is responsibility; safety is command; safeguarding safety relies on action. In the afternoon, Vice General Manager Li Jie personally took charge, collaborating with relevant functional departments and production workshop leaders to conduct a comprehensive and detailed safety hazard inspection of the production site, equipment, facilities, and safety protections. The next phase’s rectification direction and specific tasks were clarified, emphasizing the need to treat hazards as accidents to ensure safety and prevent potential issues.

In the following days, unit managers led by example, demonstrating commitment during the scorching summer months. During the intense production season, they organized safety training, practical training on job standards, hazard inspection and rectification, and emergency drill activities in an orderly manner. This immersive practical experience helped enhance safety awareness, operational skills, and emergency response capabilities. Notably, the Power Department and Low Iron Sodium Sulphide Workshop conducted a joint practical drill on sudden power outages in fluidized bed boilers and evaporation systems. The drill was well-organized and interactive, enhancing participants’ awareness of safe operational procedures and improving their emergency preparedness, receiving unanimous praise from company leaders and observing units.

During this period, the company’s labor union took the initiative to play the role of a “logistical support team,” working with workshops to ensure heat prevention and cooling measures were effectively implemented. They checked the operation of cooling and ventilation facilities and timely supplied medicinal items such as, essential oils, chrysanthemum tea, mung bean soup, watermelons, and ice cream to provide refreshing relief to employees, conveying the company’s care for their well-being. “The company cares for our physical and mental health, which deeply touches us, and we don’t feel the hardships of summer production!” said employee An Xuemei from the Fine Barium Workshop emotionally.

After the activities, the Safety and Environmental Department organized a meeting with all management personnel to summarize and report on the results of the Safety Month inspections and assessments, acknowledging the stable and orderly achievements of production and sales. The meeting pointed out areas for improvement in emergency drills and recognized advanced units and individuals in various aspects of the activities, including publicity and writing, training and examinations, practical competitions, hazard inspections, and emergency drills.

Safety is in my heart, safety is in my hands. The efficient production safety during the company’s Safety Month is an extraordinary achievement resulting from the united efforts and diligent work of all managers and employees.
