Students from Xi’an Polytechnic University Engage Summer Social Practice at Fuhua Chemical

In the scorching summer of July, the enthusiasm for the collaborative construction of industry-education integration between universities and enterprises remains undiminished. To deepen the integration of production, education, and research, and to strengthen the cultivation and reserve of high-quality talent, on July 23, 2026, five students from the Electrical Engineering program of the School of Electronic Information at Xi’an Polytechnic University visited Shaanxi Fuhua Chemical Company Limited to carry out summer social practice activities. The jointly built electrical equipment research and practice base was officially inaugurated, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the collaboration between industry and Enterprise.

At 9:30 AM, the Chief Engineer of Fuhua, Bai Junsheng, hosted the inauguration ceremony, with a total of 12 participants from both sides. Chief Engineer Bai introduced the attendees and explained the purpose and process of the practice activities. The Deputy General Manager of Fuhua, Li Jie, warmly welcomed the five students, including Yang Naiheng, to gain hands-on experience within the enterprise, and formally presented the practice team with a plaque, signifying the establishment of a regular cooperative mechanism for practice and teaching. The union chairman, Gou Zhanmin, presented souvenirs to the students, encouraging them to cherish the practical opportunities, apply what they have learned, and enhance their skills through experience.

Through watching the corporate promotional video and visiting the cultural exhibition hall, the students gained insights into the company’s development history, honors, and innovative achievements. After taking group photos, the Deputy Section Chief of the Power Department and Electromechanical Engineer, Liu Lishan, led the students to the production frontlines. During the site visit, they experienced firsthand the critical role of modern electrical systems in ensuring safe production within the factory, broadening their professional perspectives and solidifying their practical understanding.

This summer internship and inauguration event represents the company’s proactive efforts to deepen university-enterprise cooperation and empower talent cultivation, while also expanding students’ professional horizons. Fuhua will continue to leverage the practice base platform to conduct in-depth research and study, internships, and training activities, fostering a talent pipeline of high-quality, application-oriented professionals through industry-education integration, thereby contributing to the collaborative force of innovative development and supporting the company’s green economy and high-quality growth.
